Faults:

Nothing other than servicing. The car's detailed history reveals a lot has been spent on preventative maintenance.

Slight rust on sub frame (MOT advisory), but it is over a decade old now.

General Comments:

A petrol Audi A4 - something a bit rare, as most are diesel TDi units.

This petrol 1.8 TFSi engine is no slouch though - even with the auto-box it feels punchy, and you can still get 40 mpg + on longer drives. Around town 30 something miles per gallon is more likely though. But the tax is reasonable, the car isn't as expensive to run as you might think. Sure if something serious goes wrong it is expensive to fix like any car, but buy a looked after car and you should be OK. My car has been serviced mostly by Audi main dealer or independent specialists over the years and it shows. Never touch these cars without a detailed history.

Very fun to drive. Interior still modern and laid out well, plenty of space.

5 spoke Audi alloys are the best looking in my opinion.

A gorgeous and great all round car, the A4 is worth the money! In an overpriced used market, you might as well buy something you enjoy!

General Comments:

The A4 in my opinion is better to drive than the BMW 3 series and Mercedes C-Class and any others in this class.

Gorgeous to look at inside and out. Classic A4 shape has barely changed since the late 1990's and it still manages to look modern on this 2014 model. An S Line in darker colors is the one to go for!

Inside the car is very comfortable. Spacious and has all the electrics you could want.

2.0 TDi provides both power and economy. Even with the semi-auto I have managed a solid 49 mpg so far, and I drive fast!

Try one, buy nothing less than a cared for car and enjoy. Initially expensive to buy, but they are worth it!

Faults:

A lot of expensive maintenance rather than actual faults. It is ten years old, but has lower than average mileage. These are expensive cars to fix, but at this stage I am not expecting anything major as the service schedule has been followed to the letter, I bought approved used and have kept up to date with everything it needs.

General Comments:

Dark blue Audi A4 Black Edition. Very nice car for the money. I have enjoyed every moment with this car, and so I should at the price I paid for it!

It goes like an absolute rocket and still manages 45 - 50 mpg. The 2.0 TDi is a fine engine if cared for. Semi auto box is a joy to use. The car is amazing to drive.

Exterior styling is incredible. Interior has a sporty and luxury feel. Very spacious. I challenge anyone to find better, even from Mercedes or BMW. If I am being really picky... the center console has too many small buttons and was a pain to navigate at first.

The perfect all round car really. Find a nice one and enjoy it. Do not touched unloved examples, the used market is full of them.
