Faults:
Alarm kept activating for no reason. Has stopped now for unknown reasons.
Gearbox sometimes won't engage on very rare occasions, but still...
General Comments:
Cabin is funky and has futuristic looks. Comes with a respectable spec.
Sporty seats are very, very comfortable and snug you in the right way.
I'm most impressed with the handling, even in the wet it's great. Very predictable with a lot of grip. Although steering can feel woody in the rain.
Tailgate is half decent for the size of car.
Not too much room in rear, would recommend the adjustable rear seats if buying.
A great buy for around town, has good torque and is nippy once into 2nd gear. Can surprise other drivers, acceleration is quicker than what is quoted. Engine loosens up after 4500-5000. Bags of fun though, would be great as a first car.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I agree with all your comments. I own a Saxo VTR (100bhp model) and test drove the C2 VTR recently. The sensodrive gearbox took some getting used to, it's pretty good, though perhaps it would be better as an option, and once it's out of first gear the car has a surprising amount of acceleration. I thought at the time that it felt a bit better than my Saxo, though its difficult to really tell.
The handling is fantastic, no doubt helped by those 16inch alloys and the brakes are... well a little too brilliant as they snatch a little, was a bit of a surprise after the Saxo!
I would definitely consider one, especially after your review. I thought about the GT model because it's a manual, but the lack of air con or a sun roof is a bit of a pain and a VTR with it fitted is somewhere around £12k, which considering my Saxo was £8500 new means the C2 is a little too expensive right now, oh for cash back! How much did yours cost?
