2007 Citroen Picasso VTX 1.6 HDi 92bhp turbo diesel

Summary:

Great Value

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

It is a great all rounder. 57mpg loads of room - as good as a van with the 3 individual rear seats out. I closed the hatch on a new motorbike in a box.

They are available with huge discounts from online brokers. The VTX has cruise control, Metallic, alloys + air con as standard and I paid £9,800 brand new.

The 110bhp version would be better, but 92 is respectable.

High seating position with comfortable suspension means that the handling is average - the Picasso is what it is.

Don't hate it for not being something else.

The air con is a little under powered.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

Hi, I am interested if you could please update your review. I had 2 of these cars and did a review (2004 from Botswana), and both started out fine, but ended up being whole heaps of crap in a very short time.

OK - July 2010 update

I still have the car - done nearly 40,000 miles and not a hint of a problem with anything. Great MPG and still on original tyres. £110 pa road tax. The 1.6 HDi manual version is the one to get IMHO.
