2004 Citroen Xsara LX 1.6 petrol

Summary:

Surprisingly good

Faults:

Had to get an auto electrician to sort out faulty indicators and alternator at one point, but wasn't too expensive.

Usual wear and tear, eats brakes pads, even though my driving style was OK, suspension components replaced also. Rear exhaust back box fell off, welded back on for a small fee.

I've done every oil change, was a surprisingly reliable car despite its reputation.

Cosmetically the car had very little rust even when I was finished with it.

General Comments:

Had this Xsara a long time despite many comments from others saying it would not last. It did however prove to be a durable car.

Very 1990's feel to it, but that is OK, I love cars from that time period. Interior is very comfortable, ride is smooth.

1.6 petrol did 40 mpg and was actually quite fast when I needed to over take. Not bad to drive.

Overall I had no complaints about this Xsara, have since moved on to a Citroen C4, hope it is as good :)

2004 Citroen Xsara LX 1.6i 16v 110 BHP

Summary:

As Quick As My Old 1.8L Ford Focus

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

What a good car this is. It Only cost me £9,100 for the LX Model with A/C and CD Player.

As For the Performance, it is very good. It can do 0-60 mph in 9.7 seconds and run on to a top speed of 121 mph (as quick as my 1.8L Ford Focus I had). The build quality is not bad either. The only thing missing from it is alloy wheels. Overall, a great car.
