Faults:

No issues so far in one year and six thousand miles. The car was bought approved used from a Mazda dealer and has full history. Buy nothing less. I will admit my car has lower than average mileage however - I wouldn't touch a very high mileage one of these cars even with history.

General Comments:

Brilliant white Mazda 6 estate car - very stylish and practical, I am loving this car. It is modern and fun to drive and gets in all the luggage I need.

2.2 diesel does a genuine 47 - 50 mpg without even trying. It's fast too, and very nice drive and overtake traffic. The car also handles very well for a family estate tourer.

Quiet on motorway drives, and plenty of well thought out storage areas.

Inside this model is packed with electric features. For a 2016 car, it still feels modern and as good as new.

On the downside, I have not had any trouble yet, but have read about the diesel issues this engine can have. I think the key is as long as you do decent mileage, change the oil on time and clean out the EGR valve and MAF sensor, most of the typical issues with this engine can be avoided. I'll also be doing more mileage next year (about 15K instead of just 6K) so that should also help keep the DPF clear.
