2002 Mercedes-Benz Vito 112 CDi 2.1 turbo diesel

Summary:

Great if you have plenty of money to throw at it!

Faults:

Brake lines and disks.

Heat deflector panel fell off!

General Comments:

This van is quick for a van.

Looks great in blue with alloys.

However it is starting to get more and more things going wrong such as the glow plug light, brake lines don`t last, injectors needed and rust bubbles are starting to appear everywhere!!!

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

2002 Mercedes-Benz Vito 108 cdi

Summary:

Rubbish... I would not buy a Vito again!

Faults:

This van has been converted into a seven seater.

Van has gone into Limp Mode at 65000 miles and no-one can figure out the problem. It has even been hooked up to the computer software, and still no joy!

Van is extremely hard to start... again, could be linked to the above comment.

General Comments:

Can't really say much about the interior, as it has been stripped and fitted out with luxury seating etc.

Gearbox on the dash is a good idea, much more comfortable than a normal car.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No

Sounds like you have a leaking injector, common problem, will it start with a tow? If so it's a injector it won't show up on diagnostics, take off the leak off pipes and turn the engine; the faulty one will be flowing diesel. Hope this helps, Robin.
