2008 Mitsubishi Colt CZ2 1.5 turbo diesel

Avoid at all costs
Faults:
AMT gearbox needs £700 repair after 29K miles, just outside the warranty.
Driver's seat height adjustment won't stay in the up position. It goes down over time.
Boot gets stuck closed.
General Comments:
Very economical on petrol, but very expensive on repair bills.
It's nippy around town, but a fault on the gearbox means it won't engage into reverse.
I contacted my local Mitsubishi dealer to ask for a good will gesture to help pay towards the £700 repair costs, but they only offered £30. I thought I was buying into a reputable and reliable brand, and I was wrong. I would stay clear of all Mitsubishi cars.
