Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong with it yet, but I have not had it long enough for anything to go wrong.

There is some wear on the upholstery. Not surprising for a car that's 11 years old.

The body work needs a little attention around the wheel arches. Not a big problem.

General Comments:

I bought the car for the wife to replace her worn out Fiat Uno. She hasn't been able to drive it yet as I am having too much fun with it.

I had a Renault Laguna which I sold and bought a motorbike. The 100NX is now tempting me back onto four wheels.

It's not fast, but it is great fun to drive and hugs the road like a sports car should.

Extremely comfortable with a good driving position.

It is the first 100NX model that Nissan brought out and does not have a targa top. Living in the Lake District where it rains on every day with a Y in it, this is not really missed.

Having only done 1,500 miles in it over three weeks, it is a little early to spot any problems.

Go and buy one. Have some FUN!

Faults:

Brought the car with FSH..... couple of niggles like the rear parcel shelf lugs had snapped, radio aerial snapped and this lag everyone talks about when accelerating..... I have not tried to get the lag fixed yet but I will do in time.......

For some reason people seem to look at the car when driving and there are also admiring looks from other road users especially with the T-Bar out...

Like the gear changes and the willingness of the engine.... shame the engine cannot match up with the willingness it shows..... also I cannot put the air circulation switch into re-circ but it's not a major problem....

Sorted rear parcel shelf out with some stainless steel tube and screws for a touch of retro styling.....

Stereo is good for a standard stereo, especially with my mini disc plugged in.........

WARNING:- Take time finding one cause I almost ended up with one which had been an insurance write off and been repaired....I only found out cause I HPI checked it..... definitely buy one with FULL SERVICE HISTORY. They are out there and worth their weight in gold.

Faults:

Nothing has gone wrong, apart from the standard fault with the air controller.

General Comments:

Brilliant car, fast, cheap to insure and very reliable. Considering this car has done 95,000 miles I cannot believe how well it drives. Feels much smoother than any of the modern company cars I drive.

Only concern is the lack or rear seating space! Although the boot is more than adequate for my needs.

Looks much better with after market larger alloys.

Faults:

My air lever was jammed when I bought it and the front left spring was in two pieces. Both were easily fixed, the later with 35mm lowering springs.

General Comments:

Good car, easy to modify, exhaust, bonnet vent, 16" alloys, bucket seats - the answer to your comfort problems and air induction kit.

Faults:

Air circulation lever snapped off.

Carburettor problem.

General Comments:

This was my first ever new car and I really enjoyed driving round Cyprus and the UK in a "convertible" car. Like most of the people replying to this survey I had the recycle lever replaced under warranty after it broke off. I liked them so much I bought another one after 2 years of driving this one and if they still made them I would have bought yet another. Only slight complaint is that the more powerful 2.0 was not available in the UK.
