Summary:

The best Metro in the World - Ever!!!

Faults:

Nothing major mechanically has gone wrong with the car.

New alternator needed at 120,000.

Has had a couple of new exhausts.

Rust problems only recently started.

Hatchback does not stay up in cold weather - consequently I keep getting bashed on the head!

General Comments:

After 155,000 miles it is still totally reliable.

Starts up first time!

Being this reliable is very important to a female - it doesn't matter about the rust problems as long as the engine is sound.

Have had some bodywork done recently, and now 'Fred' looks like new!

The best £2,700 I've ever spent!

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

How you could have bought this machine in 1991 is utterly beyond me. It wasn't launched until 1995.
