1993 Rover - Austin Maestro Clubman D 2.0 turbo diesel

Faults:

Nothing major. Well, it reportedly had a new engine after a blow up (c.30,000 miles) but that was before I owned it. And on all three I've owned rust is a major trauma.

General Comments:

Having owned three Maestros now (It's a long story) this is certainly the quickest. And the most fuel efficient (the other two were 1.3 and good for 150'000, so here's hoping). However this one really needs the power steering, it really is too heavy round town.

1993 Rover - Austin Maestro Clubman 2.0 turbo diesel

Faults:

Radiator leak, replaced under warranty.

RUST!! roof joins required attention in year 2, nearside rear door and tailgate replaced under warranty.

General Comments:

A good utility car which has plenty of internal room and has proved to be reliable. Although it's not a modern looking car, it goes well. Needs the power steering.
