2023 Suzuki Swace Motion CVT 1.8h hybrid petrol

Summary:

Nice, reliable, good car

Faults:

Nothing but the required servicing, car has been very reliable the last couple of years.

General Comments:

Virtually identical to an older Toyota Corolla I had before, this Swace is a fine car from Suzuki. You get more for your money with these cars.

Motion is a fairly basic model, but the car has all electrics, heated seats, and all the modern phone connectivity features you would expect.

It's spacious and nice to drive. The economy with the hybrid is amazing and I see no reason to switch to fully electric cars - I think hybrid is the future. You need that petrol engine for power, and that electric motor for ambling about town slowly. This car seamlessly does both very well, with no need to plug in.

Performance is OK considering the economy, but do not expect to win any races.

Sharp looking car exterior in silver with window tints, alloy wheels, etc.

Interior a bit dull, and the touch screen is fiddly. But these are minor complaints.

Overall a good car, nothing special but if you just want a modern reliable car, jump right in, you could do a lot worse than one of these!

2022 Suzuki Swace SZ5 CVT 1.8h petrol hybrid

Summary:

Superb value for money

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

Suzuki Swace is basically a rebadged Toyota Corolla estate. It is a fantastic alternative that offers more for the money.

My car is dark brown, tinted windows, and nice alloy wheels. Good looking for what it is.

Interior is a bit of a let down however - lots of cheap looking plastics everywhere. It is very dull. However it is all functional and laid out well. The seats are very comfortable and the car is quiet on the move.

It's not bad to drive either - the 1.8 petrol hybrid's performance will not set the world on fire, but it is of course very economical. Battery charges itself as you drive on petrol - no need to plug in.

Cars like this put all electrics cars to shame. Why not have the best of both worlds like this car offers? A hybrid may be the way forward for people that just want a reliable economical modern car.
