1988 Suzuki Swift Gti 1.3 16v petrol

Faults:

Usual wear and tear. Exhaust is expensive - £75 for mid section that is only 30cm long.

General Comments:

The best car I've had - faster and more fun than current 309 GTI.

Beat neighbours Cossie from standing start. Only group 11 insurance and 40mpg commuting. Mine had 85k when I bought it and sold it with 150k. Sold it to a friend and it is still going strong at 180k but did need a new clutch.

Not much room in the back or the boot.

I would buy another just for the engine noise when changing down gears.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
