1990 Vauxhall Rascal 1.0

Summary:

The world's greatest little van

General Comments:

You will be surprised how much room is in the back. Very reliable, very economical & cheap tax, and spares are cheap too.

Not the most comfortable van. I'm six foot tall & fit in the driver's seat pretty well. Long drives are slow; 65mph going steady, but driving & parking round town is a breeze, Double sliding doors are very handy. It carries a fair bit of weight too.

Rust is just starting to come through the wheel arches, but the underneath is solid.

I should have bought this van long ago for my business.

Hi I purchased a vauxhall rascal today (26/3/2007) and I'm over the moon with her she has the odd bits of rust here and there, but nothing major. I am surprised at the room in the back larger than my escort van and much cheaper to run.

!!ALL HAIL THE RASCAL!!

Had a rascal for 4 months now and find her very pleasuring to drive. Had a new engine in after 2 weeks of owning her, but no problems since. Did a 600 mile round trip in her and was better than my diesel escort. Can't believe how good they are, always on 2 wheels LOL.

Rascals rule.

1992 Vauxhall Rascal 1.0

Faults:

Crankshaft oil seal (front).

General Comments:

Masterpiece of design where all components wear out at the same rate.

When you're on the road this week just look at how many D & E reg examples are still buzzing around!

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know
