1999 Acura Integra GS 1.8 from North America

Summary:

Sounds like a Ferrari, Costs way less

Faults:

Nothing, yet.

General Comments:

Great car. Reliable, and fast for 1.8 liter engine. Great car to modify as well. There are so many after market products for this car it's not even funny. Very popular with young guys who like a reliable car that revs and goes like a v6 and sounds like a v12.

1999 Acura Integra LS 1.8 from North America

Summary:

Highly recommended for anybody wanting to own a car, emphasis on own

Faults:

The only thing that has ever gone wrong with this vehicle were the warped rotors. That was because of an overanxious young driver.

The car is also very tempting to put money into and the rewards are great enough for such a hobby to become addictive.

General Comments:

In the 12,000 miles that I had the car before it's unfortunate end it never gave me a problem.

I came to realize that my doubts about small car safety features are vastly underrated and this is the car to prove it. I had crashed going 105mph and jumped out and walked away.

The reliability, gas mileage, functionality and 3rd gear performance are all top notch.

I have a 99 integra LS and oh god is it addictive to work on, I had 1200 rims and a 1500 system and the car got stolen, which is a problem you will have as an owner, but I'm right back on the band wagon working on it again, putting the system in this weekend and trying to get some GSR rims because it's going to be stricly sport and honestly big rims aren't good for that :)

1999 Acura Integra SE 1.8L from North America

Summary:

Great bang for the buck

Faults:

So far, I have only noticed a few flaws. The paint on the front of the car seems to flake off, and peel occasionally.

The only other problem that I have noticed is that my cruise control has gone once already and is starting to sputter again.

General Comments:

Great car. 229,000 kms (approx. 140,000 miles) and still no major problems. Car is great on highway, and comfortable on long trips.

The stereo, while being fairly good stock, can be improved greatly with new speakers.

Performance and handling are great, but I recommend a K&N air filter, as that option enhanced the kick in the pants feel of the car 2 fold, although you notice it the most in the 4-5'000 RPM range.

1999 Acura Integra GS 1.8 from North America

Summary:

No car is an investment, but this is the closest!

Faults:

Nothing of course, it's a honda.

General Comments:

Very good quality, well balanced, a rock solid car. I can't even look at a domestic car anymore, they can't even compare! Just ask anyone with a sunfire, cavalier, neon etc. they're all garbage! They fall apart after a year.

1999 Acura Integra GS-R 1.8L I4 Vtec from North America

Summary:

A quick little pocket rocket

Faults:

This car seems to eat brakes alive.

The transmission literally exploded, causing the wheels to lock at 45 MPH.

Dealership ended the vehicle warranty after I had a clutch put in.

General Comments:

I loved this car very much.

Very fast and easy to drive.

Excellent fuel mileage.

The factory sound system was extremely underpowered.

I would buy another one if I thought that the warranty was good for anything.
