You must not know how to drive or anything, possibility you just don't have a good mechanic cause I drive an 1991 acura legend and it has never had a problem master cylinder never has gone out or anything, I have only lost 1 race and that was to a corvette. so yeah LEARN HOW TO DRIVE AND WORK ON CARS.

I've had my 1991 Legend since it was new. It now has 230,000 miles on it. I can't imagine a more reliable car. Almost everything is still original. Although the alternator has just started singing. The bearing must finally be on it's way out.

I would recommend this car to anyone.

Wow. The preceding (Dec. 13) comment, along with the original review, appear to be the only ones here not exaggerating. The Legend is a fine car, but saying that you've only lost a "street race" to a Corvette (which clearly means you've beaten most other fast cars) might be a little misleading. That said, remember that speed is a subjective term. The original reviewer might have previously owned a Porsche (even though the Legend is clearly faster. Yeah.), and so the Legend, though quick, seemed slow. Or maybe there is something wrong with his engine (seriously, no sarcasm intended). As far as the problems listed here, remember that the cars that come off the assembly line near quitting time on Friday tend to be put together more hastily than those from Tuesday or Wednesday. However, I must say that I'm a fan of American cars, but I know very well Honda's well-earned reputation for reliability. Maybe these cars are just aging. Of course, you could always go for a new "Legend." I think the 3.2TL is supposed to be the successor to the Legend. That one won't beat a Corvette either, but it's a fine, comfortable, even relatively fast car.
