1986 Alfa Romeo 33 QV 1.5 from Australia and New Zealand

Summary:

Loads of class and personality in a small-car package.

Faults:

Cam shafts required repair on purchasing the car, very costly.

A small amount of rust has developed on exterior below rear hatch.

General Comments:

The car accelerates at a reasonable pace and cruises nicely at open road speed with excellent handling.

Exotic styling and tasteful upholstery.

On the downside it uses more gas than a typical 1.5 car, averaging 13L/100km urban driving, and 10L / 100km open road.

There are rattles coming from the back, possibly squeaky suspension.

1986 Alfa Romeo 33 Ti Quadrifoglio 1.5 twin carb from Australia and New Zealand

Faults:

Bent rear axle after hitting a kerb.

Air conditioning failed.

Broken front headlight.

Blown motor due to lack of oil.

Dash illumination failed.

Steering colum became loose.

Dash rattles.

General Comments:

Probably one of my favourite little cars because it goes so well and looks so nice.

The exhaust note is beautiful, I love those pops when bringing the revs down. Because I forgot to put oil in I blew my first engine. Now I am in the process of gettting a new one organised and put into it, a nice car for someone 18-20 something...
