1988 Audi 80 S review from UK and Ireland
"One heck of a car!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Water pump 133,000 miles.
Battery 99,000.
CV twice.
Plus wear and tear items and that is about it!
General comments?
This is without doubt the best, cheapest and most reliable car I have ever owned, and I would recommend one to anyone, I have both managed to get 130 mph whilst also getting 660 miles out of a tank on a journey from Devon to Scotland, there are not many petrol engined cars that can do that!
Finally, two days ago, I put it in for its MOT and it failed... on a 99p bulb!
