2015 Audi A3 S Line Sportback 2.0 TDi from UK and Ireland
Summary:
Nice
Faults:
Does like a top up of oil, but not excessively so. I've heard this is normal consumption on these higher horse power 2.0 TDi engines.
Replacement front brakes discs as they were warped causing vibration.
Exterior has seen better days, no rust or dents, but the grey paint work has lost its shine, but it is over a decade old to be fair.
Interior holding up well, however the electric mirror knob is a bit unresponsive.
General Comments:
Lovely little premium car from Audi, top quality materials and drive.
S Line is a fantastic sporty spec. Inside the car has all the mod cons despite being a decade old now. Has the most comfortable leather seats I have ever sat on. Not the most spacious, but get an A6 if you need more legroom and comfort. The A3 appeals to younger buyers.
Good looks and fantastic to drive. 2.0 TDi is very economical also. The car can be expensive to repair and service, but worth it in my opinion.
Plan to keep it long term, a sporty modern hatch makes the most sense as a practical everyday car, especially diesel; electric or hybrid will never appeal to me, this car already does it all and better than anything made nowadays.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes
