1984 Buick Century Limited review from North America
"Cheap on the outside, BUICK on the inside"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
A few exhaust problems, but it was an old car.
Power locks don't work real well.
Had a main bearing go out at 145,000 miles and replaced the engine.
Water pump went bad.
General comments?
I bought the car from my aunt when the motor went bad. I put in another 2.5 with 125,000 miles from a field beater Celebrity I had. I didn't rebuild the motor, but it got me to 171,000.
The water pump quit and I ended up pushing the motor past its old limits. I'm not going to fix it because everything is started to rust out on it, so its not worth replacing the motor.
The car has been great to me besides that. Cheap to run, never left me stranded except at my house... and it RIDES LIKE A BUICK!
