1987 Buick LeSabre T-type from North America - Comments

"This is the best car I have ever owned"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

I bought the car needing struts.

Driver seat has a rip in the middle.

The headliner needs to be replaced.

I replaced the cam censor.

General comments?

This car has one of the best performance packages available on any car.

It has a smooth ride, yet it takes to curves like a race car.

The seats are large and very comfortable.

The 3.8 liter engine is rock solid. Though, some people might not like the fact that they all run a little ruff.

I have a 1985 lasbre and I love it I recieved it free. I had to put in a starter, oil pressure sensor I need inner and outer tie rods, but still it's worth fixing and I would get another one if possible and it's on it's second time around with 121000 miles great eng. thanks buick.

I own an '87 Lesabre T-type myself, and I love it. So far I've replaced the Starter, cooling fan motor, fuel injectors, blower motor, alternator, and I need to replace the head liner; it is currently taken completely out of the car. The transmission is starting to slip, but what can you expect from a car with 147000 miles on it. My lesabre is a champ and I'm not throwing it away for anything. I need to get a hold of a rear spoiler though. I recieved the car when I turned 16, about 2 years ago. My goal is to put a new 3800 series II in it. Though it's given me so much hassle with fixing it, I still love everything about it.

I also own a 87 buick t-type. Mine is in mint shape. I have fixed the cam senser the IAC and the MAF sensor. Other than that its perfect. it has almost 300000km on it. I also have plans for a series II 3.8 but have yet to find a suitable engine. but I love my buick man. just kills those ricers oh yeah.
