1990 Buick Riviera from North America - Comments

"The best car I have ever driven!!!"

What things have gone wrong with the car?

Until recently, nothing other than regular maintnance such as brakes, and tires has gone wrong with the car. There has been an occasional belt, hose, or water pump, and I did replace a couple of engine mounts.

Now that it has over 260,000 miles on it, the engine and transmission are starting to have some problems and may need rebuilding.

General comments?

This is my first car and is old as dirt by today's standards. Now that I have plenty of money to buy a new car, I can't seem to find anything that drives as well.

I really like the digital instrument panel.

The closest car I can find to the Riv is the Cadillac.

Seville.

They list at $45000, but drop like a rock the first three.

Years. You can get a 2003 Cadillac Seville SLS for $26,000.

The STS's are more because of the heavy duty suspension and

the sporterl ook. I actually like the steering better in the SLS, the STS is too stiff.

The problem with the Seville is a lot of people complain of.

Mysterious road noise when driving at high speeds.

I bought I this car and absolutely LOVE it!! It is extremely comfortable and classy. I do have to sell it unfortunately because its too hard to get kids in and out since its only a 2 door : (But I agree with all of you whom have commented greatly on this 90 Buick it is definitely one of a kind!!

Sandra.
