It has been a great car and I still own it. So far I replaced the carburetor @ 160,000 miles and is running great! Besides that the head gasket went @ 120,000 miles after I was drag racing it!!! It got so hot the steam was coming out of the carb!!
I think this is one of of the world's greatest American luxury cars!!

I love the fact that you are enjoying your car, but why are you drag racing a "luxury" car? I mean how many Lincolns or Cadillacs of that era do you see at the drag strip? LOL Not that they can't do it, because they can with those large torque motors (with better ratio-ed rear ends of course) but the large weight would be a problem, as would there not being a fuel station on the track... LOL. BTW I'm not hating on large old cars, I have a 1978 Lincoln Mark V and I love every minute and every mile that I drive her.
The review is from three years ago. The reviewer has almost certainly beaten the Riviera into the junkyard by now.
