General Comments:

Was my second car. I was 19 years old. I bought it in 1991 for $1100 from a dealer. The odometer read 27,000 miles and change. Now either the dealer's story about the man with a hurt leg was true, or I got rooked on the mileage.

But in any event, even if the odemoter had been tampered with, this was a great car. Except at the very end of my ownership, I never broke down with the car. It rode wonderfully, and started up every morning.

Don't believe the hype you read in those reviews about this being a notorious lemon. This was the best car I owned for the money. Easily.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

I purchased a 95 Buick Skylark for 500.00 dollars that had 125,000 miles, It now has 177,000 miles on it and still runs great. It handles the road awesome, runs quiet, super cold AC. The only problems I have are the back doors sticking when I try to open them and the fuel door latching mechanism is sub-par, I have to open the door with a screw driver. Every now and then the check engine light comes on, but nothing ever seems to go wrong so I ignore it. This car has impressed me, so much so that my next "new" car purchase will be a Buick. This car hasn't cost me a dime over the initial purchase price. I hope the new ones are built with the same quality and durability.
