1992 Buick Skylark review from North America
"Great value for money!!"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car was hesitating off the line and would cut out every once in a while while cruising down the road. Figured out to replace the spark plug wires and it was like driving a new car.
AC quit working at about 130000 miles. I trying to be resourceful tried to fix it myself. I screwed it up even worse and it is still not fixed. I don't want to put the money into it.
Rear brakes are messed up. The self-adjusting mechanisms are worthless.
General comments?
The car has been a great car for the $2,600 I spent on it.
The car gets 30 mpg and has great pickup. It has not left me on the side of the road yet and if it died today, I got my money's worth out of it.
The driver's seat is uncomfortable on long trips, but it is fine otherwise.
I haven't fixed the AC because it is not worth it for what the car would be worth.
