1987 Cadillac Allante 4.1 liter V8 from North America

Summary:

Stylish luxury sports car by Cadillac and Pininfarina

Faults:

Antilock braking system had a problem but was repaired by dealer at a reasonable cost due to a Cadillac assistance program.

General Comments:

This is the finest (and most fun) car that I have ever owned.

It has great styling, superb Italian craftsmanship of body and interior.

The car is comfortable, fast and has incredible handling.

Only a few thousand manufactured each year so it is unique and likely to become a collector that will appreciate in value.

1987 Cadillac Allante Convertibile 4.1L V8 from North America

Summary:

Bottom line, Collector's Edition says -- Allante, if you don't have one - get one now

Faults:

Motor mounts needed replacing when purchased, and a few piddly things since then.

General Comments:

Caddy really blew it when they discontinued it... blend the handling of a Ferrari with the comfort of a Cadillac and you have an Allante... a real rocket.

Most people think it's a new car and it's incredibly rare to see them... everyone is impressed.

Impossible to get the performance, looks and IMAGE this car gives you for anywhere near the price they can be had for.

Only a few thousand of them in the world... definitely a collector's item.
