2008 Chevrolet Chevy C2 B review from Mexico
"Excellent"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Shifting can be hard sometimes.
No rims on the package - comes with standard covers, which can be easily stolen.
Uncomfortable back seats (space issues, mostly).
Basic set of tools.
General comments?
It's not my dream car, but it sure does pack a lot of power with that little 1.6 engine. Acceleration from 0 to 100kph is pretty smooth, and the car handles extremely well both in the city and in the highway.
Fuel consumption is excellent, I have the tank filled up every two weeks or so for daily tasks (average daily running distance is 28km, that's a 9-10km/L performance). In terms of gas consumption, the Chevy C2 is only beat by the out-of-production VW Beetle. But given that the former is bigger and more comfortable than the latter, this is a fair trade-off.
I am definitely happy with this car and with the dealership service. Should you consider buying one, do it without hesitation, because it will save you a lot of money.
