Bought my Cobalt LS about a year ago in October of 2009. The car has 56,000 miles on it. To this day, I still have not had any problems with this car; I love it. Good car to drive around town, and for outta town. I will trade this car only for the new Camaro, or I will pass this nice car to my Mom. Never have I had major or problems with Chevy. Chevy till the day I die :)

I am at 114,000 miles on my 2007 Chevy Cobalt coupe.

I love to drive cross country.

The car rattles a little inside (a piece of paper behind the panel over the glove box fixed it right up)

I had the electrical glitch many complain about, and the warranty fixed it.

I find the head lamps will drift upwards over time; I've had to adjust them down 3 times now.

The rotors need to be machined, probably because I've yet to need a brake replacement.

I replaced all of my sparks and filters recently, it didn't show any signs of lag though.

My car still feels like the day I bought it. I love this car.

In 2007 I purchased a 2007 Chevy Cobalt with 7 miles on it. Drove home joyously happy.

At 48,000 miles the clutch went out. Replaced with new clutch and remilled the flywheel. At 62,000 miles the transmission went out. Replaced with used transmission with 40,000 miles on it. 71,000 miles on it and the clutch goes AGAIN. I am beginning to think this car is cursed. Replaced the clutch again milled flywheel. At 75,000 miles the power steering goes out... Lucky FINALLY as it is a recall. New pump put in and away I went, 98,000 miles, son of a... Lost 2nd and 3rd gears... ANOTHER freakin' transmission?

Never ever buying a Cobalt again.

April 3, 2011.

Bought a new 2007 Cobalt in the fall of 2007. The electric door locks and the front rotors needed to be replaced at 12,000km.

When the manufacturers warranty expired, then the problems really started. The steering column, the front and back stabilizer links, and the plastic chrome on the interior started peeling off. Now it seems there is a concerning engine noise that cannot be diagnosed.

I am pleased with the mileage and have driven the car for 80,000km.

I knew it wouldn't be too long till all the positives changed. The Cobalt is terrible. Perhaps next time you write a review, wait a little while.
