1975 Chevrolet Impala 5.7 from North America

Summary:

Big black death-mobile

Faults:

So far I have put on a new master cylinder, new rear brake seals, plug wires, spark plugs and a new battery.

These are to be expected with a car of this age.

The air conditioning isn't quite as cool as I would like it to be.

General Comments:

I love the comfort of having a large car, but hate the gas price. It runs on 91 octane and gets roughly 12 mpg city.

It's black with black interior, which makes for a very hot summer. Very spacious for hauling friends family etc. I'm 17 so the size is a little challenging, but I'm used to it by now.

I blacked-out the grille and headlight bezels so it looks real nice at night cruising down the strip. I plan for a new carburetor and some other modifications to the engine.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I'm the original writer of this review. Since then I changed the carburetor and the beast runs fine now.
