2009 Chevrolet Impala 3.5 from North America

Summary:

A decent, comfortable car at a decent price

Faults:

The only problem I have had with this car is that the right rear door lock doesn't work except manually. It can be a minor pain, and I need to get it to the shop.

General Comments:

I have enjoyed this car more than I expected to. It is very peppy, but still gets decent gas mileage.

The trunk is huge.

The seats are very comfortable and the car is roomy, even for a big guy.

The stereo is decent.

The car handles well, and is a pleasure to drive.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have an '07 Impala with the 3.5 V6, and I agree with the reviewer. It's a good all around car. I use my car as a commuter car, and it gets 24 to 27 MPG normal driving, and a little better on trips.

Oshawa Canada plant, there's another plant in Canada where the Panther platform is produced. Both plants are known for their high level of quality.
