I to have some problems with my 2003 silverado. My auto trans slips when I accelerate only when driving slow and it shifts hard in 1-2-3.I also have a starting problem it takes some times to start. This all happened at the same time. just my luck. But I still love my truck.

I own a 2003 Silverado with a V-6. I have 89,000 miles on it and it's been great. It still has the original battery, brakes and exhaust. The only problem was replacing a segment of the steering column because it developed play early on. It occasionally takes a couple extra revolutions to start and I plan to replace the plugs soon to see if that helps. But that's it. I plan on keeping it a long time and getting a Chevy car for errands.

I bought a 2003 6.0 Vortec Crew Cab Silverado. It came with 6" lift and 7" screen CD/DVD player. Has all the bells and whistles, has 35" tires, and has 160000 miles on it, and guess what, it drives like brand new. I have hauled bob cats quite a bit, and have never had a problem.

This is the best truck I have ever had. I'm going to buy another one for my girlfriend LOL. I love this truck, and I get 17 mpg up hill, down hill, towing, not towing. Just try to keep the rpms around 2k. If you have a heavy foot, you will get bout 14.

Hi, I have a question referring to the third problem that you listed concerning the trailer hauling fuse. I have a truck of the same specifics, and am trying to hook up my boat trailer, but having problems with the trailer's running lights. You mentioned that the truck is missing a 7th fuse or something of that nature. I would like to know where to put that missing 7th fuse, so I will be able to get the running lights on my trailer to work. By the way, I have hooked the trailer up to other vehicles, and the running lights work, but when I hooked up the trailer to my 2003 Chevy Silverado Z71, the running lights worked on my truck, but not on my trailer. Can you please help with my problem? Thank you.
