2003 Chrysler Concorde LX 2.7 Liter from North America
Summary:
Big, comfortable, but quirky
Faults:
Side marker lights went out, requiring the inner fender wells to be removed, making a $2.00 bulb replacement cost $25 per light.
Car doesn't have quite 46,000 miles and already needs an alignment.
General Comments:
This car is supposed to get 29 MPG on highway, and the highest I have ever gotten is 26MPG. The car is only supposed to get 21 MPG in town and I get 22 to 24 MPG.
The windows freeze shut all the time in cold weather and do not thaw for a long, long time.
Rear defroster is slower than molasses.
In cold weather the heat controls act like they're frozen and do not want to change.
Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I had a Concorde 2.7 as a rental for 3 weeks and I will say I was impressed by it. Very roomy and quite comforable. But the 2.7 had to work hard pulling this car, and low end torque could have been better. But MPG was very impressive, I initially thought the fuel gauge was imprecise. First day it didn't seem to move. Mpg in the low 30 range which surprised me. This was carefull cruising between 50 to 60. The year before we had a Buick V6 as rental that averaged 22 to 23.
