1984 Chrysler Fifth Avenue review from North America
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The only repairs needed have mainly been normal wear and tear items like tires, rear brakes, exhaust, alternator. The lower rad hose was replaced. There are 2 known leaks - valve cover gaskets and tranny pan.
General comments?
I consider this as being a very reliable car for 15 years of age. All parts are easy to find and the dealers still stock parts at reasonable prices. Repairs are simple and most can be done at home. It handles well for a big car and offers a comfortable ride. Absorbs just about all bumps on the road.
