1996 Chrysler Intrepid ES 3.5 V6 from North America

Summary:

Very nice! Lots of room, and people say I look good driving it

Faults:

So far nothing wrong with the car, I think this is a great car! From what I have heard, it's a bad car, but I think I'm lucky. I love this car and will only trade it for a nice Honda CRX, but that will be later!

General Comments:

This car looks great! Handles great! And I have nothing bad to say about it! I will keep it forever! If you ask me if I ever need another car, I'll get the same one again!

1996 Chrysler Intrepid 3.3L from North America

Summary:

Still better than any Hyundai or Kia out there

Faults:

-Replaced front left wheel bearing and hub assembly.

-Replaced steering rack (3rd time it's been replaced throughout it's lifetime) buy a delco rack because they have a lifetime warranty so whenever the rack goes... you get a new one for free :)

-Parked the car for 3 months and suddenly the front brakes were no good.. $180 new rotors and pads

-Transmission sometimes slips/shudders into overdrive.

General Comments:

-This car has over 250,000 kilometres on it... original motor, original transmission. Body is in great condition (It was in Florida every winter until I bought it.)

-It is a great highway car as it cruises along quickly and smoothly with minimal road or wind noise.

-great handling in the corners

-stops on a dime

-a/c still works great

-always starts

-If you can find an Intrepid that seems to have been well taken care of, and drives great (I stress that you give it a good test drive... get it running through all the gears and pay close attention to any steering flaws.) Buy It!

What is the point of saying it's better than a Kia or Hyundai? Is that just a random thing you decided to throw in there? Because you didn't give any reason as to how it's better.
