2001 Chrysler LHS review from North America
"Reliable Luxurious Full Size Sedan"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I have had nothing go wrong with the 2001 LHS yet. I've been very happy with it, not so much as a broken piece of trim. It has never once broken down, or failed to start or anything like that. Running good strong and straight at 67K miles.
General comments?
This car was Chrysler's flagship in 2001, Like the 300C of today. It is a very luxurious full size sedan, and drives like it.
Soft suspension that glides over the road.
Plush leather/vinyl everywhere in the interior.
Heated seats, Auto headlights/wipers. Memory function for the seats/mirrors/radio. All the little electronic extras.
Chrysler only made 10,981 (worldwide) of the LHS' for 2001, so there are not too many on the road. This means they don't depreciate too badly.
The 2001 model year vehicles only had a 3yr/36K mile manufacter warranty. After 2002 there was a 7yr/70K mile warranty. However 2001 was the last year for the LHS.
The V6 has plenty of power (rated at 250HP) for such a big car.
I've taken it on many road trips and it is a very comfortable highway cruiser.
