2000 Chrysler Sebring Sedan Lxi from North America

Summary:

Junk - Don't buy it

Faults:

Here are all the things that have been replaced on my car:

Main electrical switch @ 3,000 m.

Transmission @ 4,000 m.

New radio/Cd player @ 4,500m.

New master cylinder 5,000m.

New power window switches at 6,000 m.

Thermostat 10,000 m.

Blower for the heater 18,000 m.

Since the week after I got the car it has made this moaning squeaking sound that they can't seem to pin down.

General Comments:

I would not buy another Chrysler product ever!

I have one and it is the worst car I have ever spent money on. The tranny sensor went at 43000 miles. The rear spoiler has faded to a white coated, red mess. The car is a V6??? A four cylinder has much more power than this thing. The front headlights are now cloudy from the plastic.??? Fuel mileage has been getting worse every month. (Yes, I give it its regular tune-ups) The sunroof interior cover has sheared all of its retaining clips (useless now). Brakes are horrible. Takes forever to stop it. There should be a class-action lawsuit against Chrysler. This is ridiculous.

Summary:

Good driving car

Faults:

I had a front wheel bearing assembly go bad at 44000 miles. It sounds like the other one is getting noisy and will also need to be replaced (it may be the one that was just replaced, but it is hard to tell until I take it in).

I had a resistor burn out in the defroster fan control and had to wait a week for the part to be ordered and fixed.

General Comments:

I like the car. My teen age daughter likes to drive it (when I let her).

The kids do not like the back seat when riding in it on long trips. They say that it is uncomfortable.

I cannot see the ends of the car when trying to parallel park and I am 6 foot 1 inch tall.
