2009 Chrysler Sebring Sedan LX 2.4 I-4 from North America

Summary:

This has been a very cost effective car for me

Faults:

The only mechanical issues I have had are:

1) A hole in the evaporative canister, causing a code. This was caused by a rock on a gravel road (poor location of the canister). I fixed it with some ABS cement.

2) The passenger side rear strut started leaking at around 130,000km. I haven't replaced it yet.

3) The fuel door is on a cheap hinge and warps so that it doesn't close quite right. Annoying but minor.

I change the oil and filter, and check the brakes a couple times of year.

General Comments:

This has been a great car. No issues, still on the original brakes and I got great mileage from the Bridgestone Touranza touring tires. They are worn out now, but I only used them in the summer, as I have winter tires.

The seats are comfortable, and it gets good mileage in the 36-40 MPG range most of the time.

2009 Chrysler Sebring Sedan 2.4L from North America

Summary:

Comfortable and roomy car for a bargain

Faults:

Nothing as of yet. The car charging socket stopped working maybe since I put a dollar store charger in there and it burnt and melted, but nothing else.

General Comments:

I bought this from an old guy who didn't need the car anymore since he retired and just wanted some money for it; I paid cash and got an excellent deal.

This car has been great, I haven't had any issues as of yet; the brake, tires, suspension, the engine, etc are all reliable and in great condition.

For a car of this age and especially this price point, I think it looks good, roomy interior and comfortable ride.
