1966 Chrysler Windsor review from North America
"A great car to drive and have fun with"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The car had been in storage for 20 years until 2002 when I received it from my grandfather.
The interior is in perfect mint condition.
Because of its lengthy time of no one driving it, it is expected that a good amount of things would have to be done for it to pass inspection.
Replaced
- 4 wheel cylinders
- 2 headlights
- brake line & fitting
- brake fluid
- 2 belts
- combustion chamber clean
- undercoated (to prevent further rust)
- starter
- fuel pump
- carburator kit
- distributer cap
- 8 spark plugs
- oil & filter change
- gas filter
- alternator
Uses a good amount of gas, but what can you expect from a big v8 383 and the size of the car?
General comments?
Once all the repairs were done, the car is great. I have yet to have a problem with it.
There is tons of space inside.
This car drives perfectly.
One of the smoothest rides I have ever driven.
A real solid sturdy car.
There is room for anything in the trunk.
Loads of space if you are into adding speakers into the car.
