Apart from normal consumable items, this car has not had any expensive repairs.
This car is perfect I do a 150 mile daily commute, and my car has never let me down. It is cosseted somewhat with oil/filter change every 2 months. Garaged over night, and with heater for company in the winter months.
The XM is a fantastic mile muncher, and I will be holding on to this car for a few years yet. This car is coming up to 13 years old and starts first time.
XM has covered a further 15000 miles since last entry, rear exhaust box has been replaced, new front disc's. Air con is now working a bit of expensive luxury to repair (It never worked from the day the I bought the car).
Car has now passed quarter of a million miles, water pump has been replaced. 15 years old still looking good, no rust
leather interior holding up well. I just don't know when this car is going to expire.
I owner a early 90´ xm, the history was not be just with these cars. it´s a a future car for factory time. it´s a on time tecnology that is used in aeronautical france industries (hidractive hydraulic system).i love my car, I thing there are many expensive repair car. my xm have got 250.000 kilometers, no blue smoke, gear box is in perfect condition only change suspension rele and front spheras.

After completing over 320000 miles my XM has finally expired, not due to the car giving up the ghost, but due to some idiot crashing into my rear.
