1995 Daewoo Tico PM 0.8 from Romania

Summary:

Great when you are a student!

Faults:

The exhaust system had to be replaced at 90,000 kilometers.

All schock absorbers failed at 100,000 kilometers and again at 130,000 km.

The fuel pump had to be replaced at 60,000 km.

The head gasket had to be replaced 2 times by now.

The screen washer's electric engine died out at 85,000 km.

The engine started to leak oil at 125,000 km and still haven't figured out why.

The brake disks are pretty worn out and need replacement.

General Comments:

The car is very nippy, for its size, and handles really well in the city

Although its quite unstable when dealing with sharp corners, it's a pleasure to drive.

The fuel consumption is great!About 4l/100 km outside the city and about 6,5 in a hot summer day.

No rust so far, but it has constant minor problems that require service.

The PM model is manufactured in Korea along with its DX brother and the building quality is higher than the SX versions.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? No
