1994 Daihatsu Charade Detomaso review from Australia and New Zealand
"A well built expensive machine"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
I blew the heater radiator. This was a massive job to repair. It meant stripping the entire dashboard and center console.
Driver seat is starting to wear badly.
Paint job is fading quite badly as well.
Clutch has been adjusted, but is still slipping, it will need to be replaced.
General comments?
This car is pretty quick and slightly modified.
Handles good, nice stiff shocks, but not too bouncy.
Would like to see a bit more power out of it though.
