1990 Daihatsu Feroza EL-II review from Australia and New Zealand
"Great little runabout"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Alternator failed. Replaced with new.
Air-con leaking gas. New compressor, drier & pipe fitted.
Battery died. Probably due to alternator fault (above).
New shock absorbers fitted.
Radiator replaced also water pipe & hoses.
New tyres fitted. Old ones had plenty of tread but plys were delaminating.
General comments?
Despite all of the above, I really like this little jigger. I bought it cheap, hence I expected to spend money on it - maybe not that much, but no regrets.
Very rugged, yet economical.
I bought it as a weekender whilst working in the bush.
I would have liked a low mileage one - but for the price & limited availability - no complaints.
