1976 Dodge D250 Adventurer SE Extended Cab review from North America
"An underrated powerhouse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Starter.
Alternator.
Speedometer cable.
Head gasket.
Rebuilt carburator.
Recharged A/C.
Never could to get the choke adjusted right, stalled in very cold weather during warm-up.
General comments?
Very powerful, would burn up the tires forever if you kept it floored. Also would squeak the tires at any speed when hitting resume on the cruise control.
Had enough power and torque to yank a church off its foundation. Ran strong for an old truck, and didn't burn nearly as much oil as typical older ones do, maybe a quart every 5,000 miles.
Sold it in '98 for $1500. I kind of miss it.
