1993 Dodge D50 2WD 2.4 from North America

Summary:

Good all round mini truck, almost as good as my Toyota truck I had

Faults:

I had numerous problems with rust in the fuel tank, as well as problems getting a mechanic to determine the firing order.

General Comments:

What a nifty little truck. Handles like my Dodge Daytona, good fuel mileage, and chicks seem to dig it.

The interior fabric is tough, but not too comfortable, and the seat belts seem to strangle anyone over 150lbs.

Not a lot of storage room, but has been a strong runner. As long as parts are easy enough to find, I'm gonna keep it.

Pray your tranny doesn't go out. took me 4 months to find a replacement when I ignored the warning signs of failing input/throw-out bearings. I ended up shattering my input shaft. other than that. I LOVE my '89.

The company that I used to work for had a couple of these for service trucks. We tried many ways to kill them and they took the abuse. While they were not well liked (I hated it) they kept on running. Great truck for reliability. It just lacks any personality.
