1982 Dodge D50 Ram review from North America
"It's a great good truck"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
My 5th gear for overdrive went out after a few thousand miles after I bought the truck. D-50 4 wheel drive has never given me any problems.
Motors still not using any oil to speak of, just leaks it out rear main.
Starts day or night, winter or summer.
Fuel is gas. fed. 32mpg standard 4 gears. 5th gear working got me 38-40 mpg.
Running antique tags now that it's old enough. Had 100,000 plus miles on it. Body rot. Everything else works including the factory radio.
Clutch cables giving me problems. Adjusted as far as it will go. Have some clutch plate drag, so about half the time I shift without using the pedal.
Gutless on hills, everything passes me by, tires still running true on front end, even after 100,000 miles.
