1992 Dodge Dynasty LE review from North America
"Good car - great car :)"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
Well, the transmission went out 1 month after I bought it. $1,400 dollars later I was on the road again.
The main serpentine belt broke shortly after that and was replaced without incident.
The oil pressure sensor went out and was replaced.
The hub assemblies all the way around the car have been replaced and packed with new bearings.
A new windshield was installed in July 2001 (car ahead of me sent a rock flying and my windshield caught it).
The clock display on the radio has gone out, but the radio still works.
General comments?
I am very meticulous about my car and keep it clean and waxed. I also keep the inside exceptionally clean and the interior is as good as new.
I run Prolong in the gas tank and in the crankcase. I also run transmission treatment stuff in the transmission casing. I also keep my engine very clean, using Armor All on all the hoses to keep them supple.
This car is in great shape and still gets 27 MPG when on the freeway with the V6.
It has a lot of miles, but has never let me down. It starts well, drives well, acts well and looks well. I would love to have another one of these cars if one became available for a good price.
I originally paid $4,995 for it back in November 1999 and could still get $3,200 for it now.
