2007 Fiat Bravo Dynamic 1.9 multijet diesel 120bhp from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Best value car of this size with gorgeous styling

Faults:

Car has been sitting in a sales yard for months, so an old recall for anti-roll bar replacement still applied to mine - no problem since it's no cost!

General Comments:

Very quick car with lots of power - compares favourably to a 160bhp Jag X-type!

Power available in every gear in normal driving - excellent for overtaking.

Very quiet - little road noise or engine noise.

Very comfortable seats, slightly bumpy ride but doesn't jar through the seats.

Beautiful looking exterior, gorgeous inside, well kitted out with blue-tooth, cruise control, dual climate control etc.

Very economical to run - 49mpg when driven hard (although within speed limits!), 53mpg when driven carefully.

Would definitely recommend.

Have the new Fiat Bravo not yet two years old with seven and half thousand miles on it. The clutch has gone, not covered under warranty, just been told it will cost £875.

2007 Fiat Bravo T-Jet Sport 1.4 turbo petrol from South Africa

Summary:

Takes my breath away!

Faults:

800km: Car engine stalled after driving off after visiting shops. Dealer checked the car, but could not find anything wrong. Has not done it since!

5000km: Replaced turbo gasket, which was leaking oil!

From the start the dipped lights (projector H1 type) are very poor. Have been to the dealer and have set up the lights according to the factory settings. Compared with a new Bravo, same poor light emission. Bright lights more than adequate though!

General Comments:

Bravo describes it well. No comparable car on the market. Drives like a dream! Quick and very powerful!

Worth every cent I paid for it!

Fiat have got the right formula here!
