1981 Fiat X1/9 1.5 FI from North America

Summary:

Refined Italian classic/open air love affair

Faults:

Replaced original clutch at 88K.

Replaced heater valve.

General Comments:

Being that it is a 25+ year old car, it is considered a classic and has "Collector" plates on it.

Contrary to popular belief, this little gem of a sportscar is more reliable than today's more high-tech engineering. I've owned several X1/9's, but this one is my fave!

It is completely restored to "better than new" condition, and resides in British Columbia, Canada.

I use it on long road trips over high mountain passes and winding roads. This is a no no-nonsense 'point and drive' car. I LOVE IT!!

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

I have a 80X, I love it, motor loves 6-7,000 RPM all day at autocross, beats out lots of pricey cars, Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
