1975 Ford Econoline E-150 Cargo Van 300 Six cylinder from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Tough, reliable, easy to find parts for cheap

Faults:

Alternator

Bad speedometer cable

Uses some oil.

General Comments:

Overall I have been very happy with this van. I drive it almost every day and it just keeps going. It is very easy to work on as well. The manual steering does get a little tiring at slow speeds, but going down the highway the steering effort is reduced to almost nothing. Being a cargo van it has tons of room to haul stuff, plus you can camp in it :) The 300 six has good low end although it is hardly a race engine. All in all I think it doesn't do too bad for a vehicle that is 30 years old.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Yes

This is the guy who wrote the review. I am from the US not the Uk. But anyway, the van is still going strong. I painted it a nice red color to cover the hideous patch work of colors that was on it before.

So you covered up the mystery machine paintjob! Man you just killed the original.
