2005 Ford Excursion Limited review from North America
"A people hauling workhorse"
What things have gone wrong with the car?
The front rotors and brakes tend to wear quickly if driven in stop and go traffic.
General comments?
This is a very solid reliable truck. Make no mistake, it is a truck, not an overgrown station wagon. It will pull anything you can hook to it.
It rides very well considering the lineage. Do not expect good mileage, but the reliability will make up for the fuel expenses.
We have driven this on many long trips, and it effortlessly cruises up mountain passes, no matter the load.
If you need the ability to pull/haul large loads and carry 8 or 9 people, this will do the job.

| Solid truck, but the V-10 is a waste |
| Too bad they will stop making it, maybe GM will come out with a Diesel Suburban soon |
