2017 Ford Fiesta ST-Line 1.0 petrol from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Bonkers luke-warm hatch

Faults:

Absolutely nothing but servicing and essentials. No problems with this car.

General Comments:

Yes I said Luke-warm, not hot hatch. This Fiesta is a great car, but by no means fast as the ST-Line trim might suggest.

Had it a few years now and has been a great little car; I like how they tried to go for both economy and performance. Engine only has 100 bhp and takes 11 seconds to get to 60 mph. The car looks great and is quick enough, but not overly, so that insurance is reasonable. The 1.0 petrol engine also does over 50 mpg, which for petrol is excellent, usually you would only see that from diesels.

Red paintwork, black/grey alloy wheels, window tints, car looks the part. Inside grey sports seats with red stitching, very nice and comfortable. Ride is a little firm but not annoyingly so. The car handles very well and despite the lackluster performance, gives a feeling of confidence in corners and you can have fun on country roads. Gear change is slick and fun.

Dash is laid out well and the car is well trimmed, all electrics. Spacious enough for two up front. Rear luggage space is not great, but it is a small hatchback, not a load lugger estate car.

In short, a fun little modern hatchback that won't break the bank; find a low mileage looked after Fiesta ST-Line and you have a fun and economical car to drive daily.

2017 Ford Fiesta Titanium 1.0 EcoBoost petrol from UK and Ireland

Summary:

Still one of the best small hatchbacks

Faults:

Nothing.

General Comments:

This Fiesta has been excellent to drive and own the last couple of years. Reliable, easy to drive, and cheap to run.

Inside is a little small for my size, but I am used to it now. The interior is nice on this range topping Titanium model. Electric everything.

1.0 EcoBoost engine is surprisingly nippy and still manages around 50 mpg or more, very good for petrol.

To conclude there is not much more to say, it is a typical modern car, not much to dislike, it does everything very well.
